She asked if I wanted to take a walk. I only hesitated a moment before deciding a walk was the perfect way to start the day. A trip around the lake with a beautiful girl and a dog, who wouldn’t say yes to that?
Of course, I don’t always say yes. Sometimes I get my priorities mixed up and think there are other things I need to do or places I need to be. And sometimes there are. But most times, I should take the walk with the girl and the dog and enjoy the misty morning and the hints of spring and the quiet trial.
Today I said yes and I’m so very glad I did.
