Words
Letters and syllables and sounds,
You dance upon my tongue
Until my mouth can no longer contain you.
You are birthed into the world with a breath,
Sometimes with a shout or a sigh;
Sometimes a whimper or a wail.
And still you dance.
And stumble and fall.
That is your nature,
To rise and soar and draw us into your dance.
And when you fall short of that grand purpose
Still you show me what it is to be
Divine and so much less so.
You are words.
Reflect back to me the Word.
Dance and sing and shout and praise.
Move me and challenge me and let me share your most wonderful expression;
The greatest Word,
Love.
Life is better together,
Shawn
